Our Selection Announcement
In 2021, we launched the purpose-based initiative Project Elevate to support underrepresented small businesses and amplify their brands.
This program provides mentorship and resources that champion their advertising goals to activate media across the Disney portfolio. After successfully completing our first cohort with CAVO and Glow Recipe, we are excited to announce our second and third cohorts of small businesses.
After sifting through more than 500 applications we selected four businesses that make up Cohort 2 and Cohort 3.
The selection process included a written assessment and interview to evaluate the business’s overall conditions.
We prioritized companies:
- with compelling stories behind their origin/motivation
- with a genuine interest in supporting marginalized individuals/efforts
- that understood their business objectives
- with the ability to intake the quantity of demand this exposure offers
- who understood how they would leverage the program
